About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to provide 1:1, in-home support for a young learner in Grantham.
About the Student
Age: 15 (female)
Level: Working at pre-KS1 level
This learner has significant communication and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 teaching sessions in a calm, supportive environment
- Adapt teaching to suit the learner’s individual needs and abilities
- Support development of confidence, communication, and independence
- Maintain communication with family and complete progress report
- Provide therapeutic support to the young person
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (preferred)
- Ability to teach Maths and English (Science desirable)
- Experience across relevant Key Stages
- Strong SEN experience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
