Estimating Manager – Southern Home Counties – Up to £40k pa depending on experience

Overview

Salary: Up to £40k pa depending on experience. Our client is at the quality end of the litho sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead print estimating and ordering, managing a small team to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Develop and maintain the estimating side of the software used by the department.
• Proactively develop strategies and solutions to keep the department and systems running smoothly.
• Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients.
• Use and administer the MIS system and Microsoft Office suite to support estimating activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in print estimating with a solid understanding of print processes.
• Knowledge of print estimating and ordering modules, and experience in developing the estimating side of the software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and familiarity with email and Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and commit to a quality‑driven environment while ensuring profitability.
