Personal Assistant (Ref: SDS/SN/318801)

Occupational Requirement: Female only (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)

Hours: Up to 4 hours per week (weekends)

Contract: Permanent

PVG Membership required or willingness to apply

We’re looking for a calm, caring, and attentive personal assistant to support a 9‑year‑old boy who is non‑verbal and uses a wheelchair. He enjoys music, rhymes, physical affection, and outdoor fun.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and wheelchair use
• Provide constant supervision (risk of running off, mouthing unsafe objects)
• Encourage sensory activities and play
• Engage with music and outdoor interests
• Ensure car is clean and safe if used
• Work alongside another PA supporting his sibling

A non‑smoker is preferred. You must be patient, reliable, and comfortable with physical contact.
