The Position: Quality Management Lead – Civils
We are seeking a Quality Management Lead (Civils) to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C project. You will act as the key point of contact for quality across a defined package of works, ensuring the supply chain delivers in line with strict quality requirements across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure supply chain compliance with contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements
- Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans and surveillance strategies
- Review and monitor contractor Quality Assurance Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
- Conduct supplier audits and manage findings through to resolution
- Oversee manufacturing and construction surveillance activities, including inspections
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the ‘Intelligent Customer’ for all quality-related activities across the supply chain
- Collaborate closely with programme teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver consistent quality outcomes
Preferred Profile
- Strong experience in quality management within major infrastructure or safety-critical projects
- Proven background in QA/QC across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction
- Experience working with supply chains, including auditing and performance management
- Ability to review and implement quality documentation such as ITPs and QA plans
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Degree/HNC/HND in engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within the nuclear sector or highly regulated industries (desirable)
- Proactive mindset with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive improvements
- Reside locally to Sizewell C or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage.
