Head of Operations

ProfileTree is an award‑winning digital marketing agency helping organisations across the UK and Ireland generate leads and sales through strategic digital marketing, websites and content.

This role is ideal for an experienced operational leader who has successfully managed managers and led multi‑disciplinary teams.

You will be someone who can balance empathy with accountability, creating a positive culture while securing high standards of performance, communication and delivery, you are comfortable having difficult conversations, addressing issues early and helping team members grow through clear expectations and consistent management.

You will act as the operational backbone of the business, ensuring that managers are supported, teams are aligned and the business runs smoothly as it continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support managers across digital, web and client success teams
  • Create accountability, clear expectations and high performance standards
  • Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions
  • Improve processes, workflows and communication across teams
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with directors on operational planning and business growth
  • Ensure projects and client delivery are well organised and effectively resourced

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in an operations or leadership role
  • Experience managing managers or team leaders
  • Strong people management and performance management skills
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proven experience improving processes and operational performance
  • Ability to balance empathy with accountability

Desirable

  • Agency, digital marketing or web industry experience
  • Experience supporting growing teams and businesses
