Senior Product Marketing Manager – Intellectual Property
Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to support our Intellectual Property division. The role is responsible for supporting go‑to‑market activities and organizational enablement of Clarivate’s patent and brand intelligence portfolio, playing an important part in advancing category strategy to achieve revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction goals.
As a key member of the Clarivate IP Intelligence team, you will contribute to the adoption, expansion, and retention of Clarivate intelligence software, services, data and new AI‑powered capabilities. You will support impactful product launches, go‑to‑market initiatives and sales enablement that demonstrate how Clarivate IP intelligence accelerates decision making across the innovation life cycle.
You will build and maintain an in‑depth understanding of buyer personas, use cases and competitive landscapes to create differentiated positioning aligned to customer needs. As a trusted business partner, you will craft unique value propositions and partner with the broader marketing organization to increase awareness, drive demand and reinforce Clarivate’s market‑leading position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own GTM strategy and outcomes for the launch of new products and new AI‑powered capabilities to support new business and retention goals, working closely with product, demand marketing and sales teams.
- Create compelling messaging and clear, differentiated value propositions that align with buyer needs.
- Lead the development of content to drive awareness, enabling efficient buyer journeys and successful conversion.
- Develop and launch sales tools that empower prospecting and clearly present solutions’ value to target buyers.
- Lead ongoing market and competitor research to inform positioning, messaging and sales enablement.
- Collaborate with demand marketing to create impactful multi‑channel campaigns that attract target buyers and drive demand.
- Partner with product to monitor and drive adoption of new solutions; develop adoption campaigns and in‑person and virtual user engagement events.
- Partner with design and web teams (internal and external) to manage the development of sales tools, marketing content (product videos, case studies, white papers), competitive battle cards, web content, social media content, and more.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Product Management within a mid‑to‑large corporation.
- Product Marketing experience in software, data or AI B2B.
- Prior experience in the IP (intellectual property) industry.
- Experience with a global/multi‑national organization.
- Experience with market and competitor research and developing positioning and messaging.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Additional qualifications that would be great: MBA or advanced degree.
About the Team
The Clarivate IP Intelligence marketing team partners closely with product, sales, and demand marketing to advance category strategy and key go‑to‑market initiatives. Together, we help our customers make faster, more informed decisions for building, protecting, and commercializing innovation.
Hours of Work
This is a full‑time permanent position based in London, UK. The role is hybrid: 2‑3 days per week in the office, the rest of the week remote. The position requires a working schedule Monday – Friday with some scheduling flexibility around core working hours.
