# Transition Social Worker (Youth Voice)* Full Time* Achieving For ChildrenAs part of the new Transitions Team, we have the opportunity to offer a 1 year fixed term contract as a Transition Social Worker (Youth Voice), sitting within the SEND Service in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.This role is one that may be of interest to someone with a background in Social care, working directly with young people who have SEND needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with outstanding communication skills and a compassionate manner. The post holder will ensure that the outcomes for disabled children and young people and those with Special Educational Needs are maximised by working to improve a young persons’; quality of life, school absences, social care needs, personal autonomy and involvement in further education and employment, independent living and community inclusion.
