The Role

This is a critical role within our SEO & GEO team – a solutions‑oriented, strategic thinker to drive forward an award‑winning and future‑facing organic product for our clients. You will manage overall SEO & GEO strategy for a diverse range of clients including Kia, Hyundai, Office, and the BBC, interpreting briefs and delivering inventive solutions that meet real‑world business challenges. You will work closely with specialist teams in Tech, Digital PR and Content, leading client communication and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end SEO & GEO strategy for your client set, coordinating campaign teams across Technical, Content and DPR departments.
  • Use data‑driven analysis to determine optimal SEO & GEO solutions and align organic strategy with overall client goals.
  • Analyse sites and data sources such as Search Console and Google Analytics to identify site issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Utilise proprietary AI technology to streamline tasks and suggest ideas for efficient delivery across the team.
  • Plan tasks to ensure timely delivery and compliance with agreed commercials, burn rates and SLAs.
  • Work within QA processes to ensure high‑quality delivery, alignment to best practice, and a consistent brand experience.
  • Lead on reporting and insights, providing regular updates on performance impact and progress against the strategic roadmap.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day client contact, build relationships, prepare content for and lead client meetings, and manage client expectations.
  • Line‑manage, mentor and develop a small number of executives, providing feedback, development plans and appraisals.
  • Review QA work delivered by AEs and content writers, providing actionable feedback to secure results.
  • Recommend process improvements to continuously develop the organic offering.
  • Identify client growth opportunities for upsells or additional SEO/GEO activity across emerging channels.
  • Report on client progress internally and externally, staying abreast of digital development opportunities.
  • Support insights and research for new business pitches and manage invoicing and time delivery systems.
  • Work with your line manager to understand profitability for clients.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Agency experience in a strategy‑centric SEO & GEO role.
  • Previous client‑facing responsibilities and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Desirable management experience, though not essential.
  • Good storytelling and presentation capability, confident communication of performance marketing.
  • Passion for and solid understanding of all aspects of SEO & GEO, and ideally digital broadly.
  • Self‑starter, organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of key SEO & GEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush, Accuranker, etc.).
