The role
Position: Service Delivery Manager (Hybrid – Basingstoke or Dorking); required 3 days a week minimum; 12‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover).
What will you bring?
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to act as a key liaison between IT functions and the business, ensuring the successful delivery of service across our organisation. You’ll be a strong and credible technical subject matter expert, providing technical input within your area of responsibility and supporting project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain exceptional service support across internal IT teams and external third‑party suppliers.
- Ensure all service partners meet business needs and operate in line with published service expectations.
- Oversee service support and delivery processes to enable a seamless customer experience.
- Thrive in problem‑solving and demonstrate confidence working with ambiguity.
- Drive improvements through to full resolution with persistence and ownership.
- Manage and influence a wide range of stakeholders effectively.
- Monitor and manage service levels and supplier performance.
- Apply strong service reporting disciplines, including service management reporting and post‑incident reviews.
- Champion continuous improvement across all service support and delivery areas.
Please note internally this role is titled Senior IT Service Manager.
