RTT Service Delivery Manager

The post holder will provide senior support and expert knowledge to the team of validation staff and other associated roles within the access team.
The post holder will have delegated responsibility for a range of activities, working autonomously using initiative and their specialist knowledge and experience to make decisions.
The post holder will oversee the smooth running of a highly functioning, expert team of validation staff, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed and achievement of all performance targets.
They will be responsible for providing regular updates and the escalation of issues which hinder delivery of a smooth patient pathway.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will possess the skills and key competencies to support the needs of the department, as stipulated in the person specification.
You will need to be organised, diligent and have patient care as your primary concern. You should have a good understanding of RTT pathway rules as well as awareness and understanding of other national targets.
You will be required to have a professional and mature working attitude, and an ability to liaise with patients and staff.

Qualifications
- A Level Education or equivalent
- Degree level education
Experience
- Working knowledge of RTT
- Experience of managing a large team
- Experience of managing complex change
