About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead client engagements in highly customer-facing environments, ensuring our cloud and AI services deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand strategic goals and develop actionable cloud and AI roadmaps.
• Lead delivery teams to provide high-quality, timely outcomes for clients.
• Design assurance strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Perform forecasting and planning activities to support scalable and efficient IT operations.
• Monitor systems proactively to identify risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for additional cloud and AI value creation.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design and proposal development.
• Contribute to improving and automating Capacitas’ service portfolio.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting complex, large-scale, or fast-growing organisations with cloud, infrastructure, or AI-related recommendations aligned to business outcomes.
• Good working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills using Python, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience applying data analysis techniques including forecasting, trend analysis, aggregation, normalisation, and statistical reporting.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps covering cloud optimisation, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, monitoring, and performance metrics, with the ability to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and optimisation opportunities.
• Experience with capacity planning, cloud cost optimisation, or financial analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commercial awareness with confidence to challenge inefficient spend or technical approaches while balancing business priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach, working effectively across engineering, finance, testing, and client teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Exposure to AI technologies, AI-enabled solutions, or AI architecture concepts.
• Experience with performance testing, automation, or monitoring tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or infrastructure monitoring platforms.

• Take accountability for end-to-end delivery of complex programmes aligned to client objectives and commercial expectations.
• Drive technical delivery across diverse environments and unfamiliar domains.
• Communicate effectively with both senior executives and technical teams.
• Resolve ambiguity, unblock technical challenges, and maintain delivery momentum.

Develop Our Business

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Support business development activities including bids, proposals, and solution design.
• Identify and develop opportunities to expand client value and relationships.
• Position Capacitas as a credible transformation and strategic partner.
• Combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to articulate clear value propositions.
• Promote consistent adoption of company methodologies and best practices.
• Create scalable and reusable intellectual property from delivery experience.
• Enhance frameworks and tooling to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
• Review and refine intellectual property created by others.
• Embed learnings from client engagements into organisational capability.
