Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager (Fixed Term)

Location: Brighton (BN1 4FY) & London (EC2R 7HJ) – hybrid. At least 1 day per week in office, alternating between locations.

Contract: Fixed term 12 months, Full time 35 hours per week. Salary up to £81,300 depending on experience + Management Bonus.

Role Overview

A highly seasoned senior B2B and B2C Marketing Manager will develop and deliver a market-leading approach to scale our customer base and maximise profitable commercial growth. You will lead and execute an audience-led marketing strategy across Paid, Owned, and Earned media channels to drive awareness, engagement, and consideration for international B2C and B2B audiences and play a strategic role in planning. You will develop content and campaigns that reinforce our brand positioning and ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead an integrated brand and marketing strategy across Paid, Owned, and Earned media grounded in insights to raise awareness of Bupa Global as leaders in International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI).
  • Lead the development of audience-led campaigns, content marketing, events, sponsorships, and partnerships to support long-term business objectives through ROI-based approaches.
  • Ensure brand messaging and creative execution align with global and regional positioning while considering local market nuances.
  • Manage budget allocation and effective management across all marketing channels.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of marketers.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies to drive impactful campaigns.
  • Drive brand performance through data-led insights, leveraging customer research, campaign performance data, and market trends.
  • Own and lead reporting on brand campaign performance.
  • Work closely with Global Marketing, Digital, Sales, Compliance, Commercial, and Product teams.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to support key markets in Egypt and Kenya on a project and business-needs basis.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience at a senior level in B2B and B2C brand marketing, integrated campaigns, and marketing.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a drive and commitment to build, lead, and inspire a high-calibre, motivated team.
  • Strong relationship management with experience of liaising with external partners, third-party suppliers, strategic creative and advertising agencies, key decision makers and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to focus on the “big picture” and make strategically important decisions within agreed parameters without referral.
  • Exceptional experience of successfully influencing decisions with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Impressive track record of managing marketing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Sound understanding of Paid, Owned, and Earned media strategies, with experience in media strategy, planning and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM, advertising, and analytics platforms.
  • Proven analytical and numerical skills.
  • Experience in managing agencies for creative and media strategy, planning and buying.
  • Experience of managing a copy clearance process.
  • Knowledge of International Private Medical Insurance would be great.
