The Role
As Project Controls Manager for Project PUMA, you will lead all project controls activities across a major chemical plant construction site.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Overseeing programme development and maintenance in Primavera P6
- Managing project reporting, and integrating controls across multiple disciplines
- Working directly on site, collaborating closely with project management, construction teams, and external partners to ensure schedule accuracy
- Monitoring progress, and supporting decision‑making
- Day‑to‑day actions will span progress tracking, risk management, change impact assessments, and performance reporting.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Proven expertise in project controls leadership within major construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
- Extensive knowledge and practical skills in Primavera P6, NEC4 contractual procedures, and risk management tools.
- Demonstrable experience in planning, progress measurement, reporting, change management, and cost control.
- Expert understanding of complex project environments such as petrochemical, process plant, or heavy industrial settings.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills, with confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, construction management, or project controls preferred.
