Senior Program Manager
Location: Onsite – Tewkesbury, GBR
Reports to: Director, Programs / Program Director
Job Summary
Senior Program Manager to manage and coordinate complex programs in the UK for Moog Aircraft Group, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, achieving program objectives, and driving business growth through proposal development and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
- Achieve program/project objectives within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
- Sustain and expand the organization’s book of business through support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
- Develop program plans with detailed schedules and monitor cost, schedule, and task completion status.
- Resolve outstanding issues through effective day‑to‑day communications with the customer, Moog management, and functional organizations.
- Optimize program success by collaborating with OE Program Managers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
- Minimum 3+ years of Program Management experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of professional work experience, including program management.
- Proven leadership experience with excellent listening and persuasive skills.
- Team collaboration, emotional intelligence, and strong customer orientation.
- Access to US Export Controlled information.
- Knowledge of project management tools, including Earned Value Management.
- Experience managing multiple programs and production program line of balance to customer.
- Experience with operations, supply chain, and engineering.
- Experience in proposal development and negotiating contracts.
- Experience managing development program schedule, cost, and risk.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with Aftermarket is desired.
