Location & Working Hours

London or Newbury + Hybrid. Full‑time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday. Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits.

Role Overview

You’ll lead the Business Insurance product portfolio and shape the future of mobile insurance within the UK’s biggest network transformation. Your work will involve translating customer insights into commercially strong, customer‑first products that deliver sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and nurture the product strategy for the Business Insurance portfolio, ensuring it reflects customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Guide the full product lifecycle from early ideas through launch, continuous improvement, and retirement.
  • Shape and deliver a clear, purposeful product roadmap so investments are thought‑through and impactful.
  • Embed Consumer Duty and FCA principles throughout, championing fair value and positive customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Sales, and operational teams to co‑create balanced, well‑informed solutions.
  • Take ownership of portfolio performance, support sustainable growth, and continuously seek ways to improve outcomes.
  • Equip and support commercial and sales teams, helping them confidently represent and position the portfolio.
  • Listen to customer feedback and market signals, using these insights to evolve the portfolio.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships, fostering alignment and shared purpose.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in product management with a track record of leading or supporting product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products or other FCA‑regulated environments.
  • Customer‑first mindset with genuine curiosity about customer needs and behaviours.
  • Ability to set a clear vision while connecting wider business goals and perspectives.
  • Experience managing the product lifecycle end‑to‑end, including ownership of performance and outcomes.
  • Comfortable building trusted relationships and working collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Balance commercial thinking with compliance, risk, and customer fairness.
  • Experience working with insurance partners, underwriting partners, or third‑party providers.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex ideas with clarity and empathy.
  • Thrives in evolving environments and enjoys contributing to positive change and transformation.
