I am looking for a kind, reliable, and personable Personal Assistant to provide companionship and light practical support in a friendly home environment.

About the Role

This role is centred around companionship and support with day‑to‑day activities. Duties will be varied and may change from week to week, offering a flexible opportunity for the right person.

Person Specification

Essential: Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude. The Person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.

Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual’s needs.

Summary of Terms and Conditions

The pay rate for this position is £12.89 per hour for employed PAs and £15.55 per hour for self‑employed PAs. Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

The post is subject to the following:

  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
