How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes for Professional Services, encompassing contract negotiations, RFP management, and sourcing strategy development
- Take ownership of complex contract negotiations, driving favourable business and pricing terms and conditions based on comprehensive market research and benchmark analysis
- Spearhead cross-functional teams to define precise Professional Services supplier requirements and facilitate collaborative supplier selection, ensuring successful contract completion by business-critical deadlines
- Assess supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and high‑quality service delivery to business stakeholders
- Establish strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their strategic direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned spend categories
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on procurement best practices and strategies, upholding AIG’s global procurement ethics and policies
- Maintain expertise on market trends, supplier dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting the Professional Services category to inform strategic sourcing decisions
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in strategic sourcing and complex contract negotiations specifically within Professional Services (IT and non‑IT)
- Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and effectively manage a portfolio of supplier agreements in the Professional Services category
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential issues, propose solutions, and balance interests to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior management
- In‑depth knowledge of best‑in‑class Sourcing, Contracting, and Vendor Management processes, ideally within a complex organizational environment
- Customer‑centric approach, with a strong focus on understanding business needs and delivering solutions that provide maximum value
