Qualified Social Worker needed for our Adult Services in Somerset, paying £38ph!

About the Role:

Somerset is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults who need support to live safely and independently, making a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Care Act assessments and reviews.
• Support adults in safeguarding and Section 42 enquiries.
• Apply the Mental Capacity Act when making best interest decisions.
• Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
• Collaborate with multi‑agency teams to achieve positive outcomes.

This role is ideal for an experienced social worker who can hit the ground running and work confidently with adults with complex needs.

About You:

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in adult social care statutory work.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and mental capacity legislation.
• Strong communication, assessment, and decision‑making skills.
