Project Manager Civil Engineering

An outstanding opportunity has arrived for an experienced Senior Site Agent or Project Manager to join a SME Civil Engineering business to deliver a civil engineering and MEICA project in South Yorkshire. This role would suit someone who has worked on AMP water frameworks previously and has a strong civil engineering background with experience managing schemes of at least £1million as site based number 1.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience managing schemes of at least £1million on water frameworks.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Ability to drive standards and implement new processes.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Exposure to working on framework contracts (water beneficial).
• Writing and reviewing RAMS.
• Programme management experience.
• Ultimate responsibility for on‑site health and safety.
• Financially astute with thorough contractual knowledge.
• Strong liaison skills with senior managers and directors, experience chairing site strategy meetings.
• Experience in hiring, procurement of plant, personnel and materials.
• CSCS and SMSTS certification.
