Aviation Security Officer
Permanent Full-Time role
Location: Liverpool Airport
Hours: 5 days a week with various shifts.
Pay: £12.71 hourly rate.
Join the team at Liverpool Airport as an Aviation Security Officer. Your role as a security officer ensures the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff, and airport personnel. From screening passengers and baggage to controlling access and patrolling the airside and landside, your work directly impacts airport safety, efficiency and reputation. You will be trained to handle emergencies, respond quickly under pressure and maintain high standards of safety and service.
About The Role
- Screen Passengers & Baggage: Ensure everyone and everything is safe with thorough checks.
- Control Access: Monitor who enters secure areas, verifying IDs and travel documents.
- Patrol the Airport: Keep airside and landside areas safe through regular foot patrols.
- Guide Passengers: Help passengers navigate security, offering advice on baggage and electronics.
- Provide Top-Notch Service: Assist passengers and resolve queries with professionalism and care.
- Stay Alert & Compliant: Follow security protocols and accurately record any incidents.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly to ensure safety during unexpected situations.

Eligibility & Background
- Minimum 5 years of UK residency.
- Must be able to pass a 5‑year checkable background verification.
