Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory, manufacturing and field validation testing, inspection, and data acquisition to support software and system quality.
- Support design and setup of test environments, facilities, instrumentation, and validation systems.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, tools, and software that support verification and validation activities.
- Participate in product and service validation activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create solutions under guidance, within a team, or based on established organizational standards and precedents.
- Collaborate with product and business leadership to communicate testing needs, project approaches, and outcomes.
- Present validation results, insights, and findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Work effectively within cross‑functional teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Lead analytical and testing activities using proven methodologies, tools, and approaches where applicable.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and/or control systems software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with test environments, data acquisition, and validation tools.
- Experience building, configuring, and maintaining test systems for subsystem and system level testing.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma / GED with proven experience in engineering or technology).
- Proven experience in testing or quality assurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence others.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability in problem identification, root cause analysis, and solution development.
