Systems Developer

Join our Corporate Systems Development team as a Systems Developer on a fixed-term basis (18 months) based in our Darlington office (hybrid working).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver corporate applications used within Finance.
• Ensure BAU support is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide insight and analysis, highlight issues and recommend innovative solutions to drive improvement.
• Identify support trends, investigate possible resolutions and perform efficient software development.

Qualifications

• Experience of systems, with a particular focus on bespoke software development using C#, ASP.NET and SQL.
• Experience in identifying support trends and resolving them through efficient software development.
• Experience with Blazor WebAssembly, PowerShell, Azure cloud infrastructure and developing dashboards and paginated reports in Power BI is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative working style with ability to build and maintain professional relationships across teams.
• Analytical approach with keen eye for detail and innovative thinking to streamline processes and produce fit-for-purpose bespoke application solutions.
