Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation and set and champion enterprise architecture principles and governance.
  • Align enterprise and domain strategies with clear 1, 3 and 5 year views.
  • Support major programmes through design authority, governance and procurement.
  • Explain architectural decisions clearly to business and technology leaders.
  • Drive application lifecycle management, rationalisation and cost transparency.
  • Manage technical debt, waivers and target‑state alignment.
  • Balance day‑to‑day stability with long‑term change.
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, HR, Risk and Legal.

Qualifications

  • Strong enterprise architecture experience in complex, regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Finance and/or HR within financial services.
  • Confidence working with governance, integration and data.
  • A clear communicator who can simplify complexity for senior leaders.
  • Calm judgement under pressure and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience of the Lloyd’s market or insurance sector is a strong advantage.
