Permanent full time, 37 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for LabWare LIMS incidents and problems
  • Administer, configure and maintain the LabWare LIMS application and its code base
  • Design, configure and support LabWare Visual Workflows and instrument interfaces
  • Develop, maintain and debug LIMS Basic scripts and subroutines
  • Create and maintain Crystal Reports and related reporting configurations
  • Manage BAU LIMS activities including user access, permissions and static data changes
  • Prioritise work based on business impact and operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate system, configuration and support documentation
  • Liaise with LabWare and third‑party suppliers where required
  • Act as a point of contact for technical queries and bridge the gap between business and IT teams

What you’ll be doing: You will provide third line (Level 3) technical support, administration and configuration of Anglian Water’s LabWare LIMS application. You will work closely with laboratory users, IT colleagues and external suppliers to ensure the system remains stable, effective and aligned with business priorities.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 5 years’ hands‑on experience supporting and administering LIMS
  • Proven experience delivering Level 3 / third‑line application support for LIMS and other laboratory applications
  • Understanding of lab workflows and experience working within a lab
  • Strong experience with LIMS Basic coding and instrument interface development
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Understanding and experience of external interfaces from LIMS
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL concepts
  • Desirable experience working in a regulated laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Visual Workflows
  • Experience supporting audit or compliance‑related systems
