Senior Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.
• Integrate and execute automation suites through Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct backend validation, database testing, and SQL query verification.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated test cases.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, DevOps teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Ensure adherence to automation best practices, framework scalability, and coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation Testing.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java and Selenium automation frameworks.
• Solid experience in API testing using Rest Assured.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
• Strong knowledge of database testing, SQL queries, and backend validations.
• Good understanding of automation framework architecture and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
