We are seeking a skilled vascular access practitioner who will provide evidence based, best practice training and consultation in all aspects of vascular access management, both peripheral and central. You will collaborate with existing Medical, Commercial and Market Access teams to develop and identify key accounts and work with Territory Managers to facilitate development of new vascular access services. You will implement new products into clinical areas, providing clinical expertise and evidence based clinical training throughout all levels within hospitals at departmental and individual level. This field‑based role requires a high level of autonomy, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You will cover the South East region with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for attainment and maintenance of clinical expertise in vascular access and IV therapy
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure business objectives are met
  • Responsible for clinical training, data collection, and educational programs within the assigned geography
  • Leverage expertise in clinical and product knowledge to support BD solutions and meet customer needs
  • Provide evidence‑based training in vascular access and IV therapy, both internally and externally
  • Offer technical support to customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with MDS medical advisers to develop key advocates and potential Key Opinion Leaders
  • Work in partnership with key customers, driving clinical advocacy for MDS product solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1st Level Nursing Qualification with current NMC registration, with hands‑on experience in the insertion of peripheral and central vascular access devices
  • Strong clinical knowledge and application of best practice in vascular access and IV therapy
  • Experience working within a Vascular Access Team, including advanced access devices, is considered a plus
  • Experience delivering vascular access and IV therapy theory and practical training, including clinical supervision, is beneficial
  • Teaching, mentoring, or supervisory clinical education experience supported by recognised certification is advantageous
  • Experience using data collection and outcome reporting to demonstrate improved clinical outcomes, and/or Vascular Access Board Certification (AVA), is desirable

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for the role: £54,000 to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits.
