Overview

An established, family‑run 44‑bed nursing home in the Calne area is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead their service. The role is a hands‑on leadership position within a well‑regarded service that holds a Good CQC rating.

Responsibilities

• Take full operational responsibility for a 44‑bed nursing home
• Provide visible, hands‑on leadership to a dedicated team
• Oversee care delivery across elderly and dementia care
• Manage and support a team including 6 qualified nurses
• Maintain and build on the current Good CQC rating
• Drive occupancy growth from current 38 residents

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting
• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) or non‑nurse considered
• NVQ/QCF Level5 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
• Experience managing nursing and dementia services
• Hands‑on, visible leadership style
• Must be local to the Calne area
