Job Purpose
This is a fixed term – 12 months post. The job purpose is to provide comprehensive medical secretarial and administrative support to clinicians and other members of the multi‑professional teams, contributing to the efficient day‑to‑day running of the service.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day supervision/management of a team of medical secretaries and administrative staff, ensuring consistent service delivery to the clinical teams.
- Day‑to‑day management of the allocated waiting list.
- Providing cover for members of the secretarial team during annual or sick leave.
- Ensuring efficient day‑to‑day running of the service.
