Job Description:
The Occupational Health Department of Nottingham University Hospitals is looking for a registered nurse with current UK NMC registration to join our established nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness for work assessments
- Perform workplace immunity assessments
- Run vaccination and serology clinics
- Manage sharps and contamination incidents
- Administer health surveillance programmes
- Support the promotion of workplace health initiatives
- Participate in clinical audit and service development work within the department
Qualifications and experience
- Registered nurse with current UK NMC registration
- Familiarity with occupational health principles (experience a plus, training available)
- Excellent IT skills and ability to communicate with clients face‑to‑face and virtually (telephone, email)
- Willingness to travel to occasional clinics at external locations
- Self‑motivated, able to work at pace and comfortably work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Location: Queen’s Medical Centre and City Hospital Campus (with occasional travel for external clinics).
