Registered Manager – Nursing & Residential Care
Location: Romford
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum
Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent

An established, family‑led care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well‑regarded care home supporting up to 38 residents across nursing, residential and dementia care. This is an excellent opportunity to take full operational responsibility of a high‑performing home, with the autonomy to lead, develop your team, and maintain exceptional standards of care.
Role
- Oversee day‑to‑day running of the home
- Provide strong, values‑led leadership to the staff team
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care
- Maintain CQC compliance, audits and governance frameworks
- Lead recruitment, training, supervision and performance management
- Manage budgets, occupancy and operational performance
- Build relationships with residents, families and external professionals
- Drive continuous improvement and service excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing or residential care setting
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and governance
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Experience managing budgets and service performance
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
