Staff Nurse (Days & Nights)

About the Role

We are recruiting a Registered Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join a well‑established care home in the Doncaster area. The home supports up to 50 residents across residential care, nursing care, dementia residential care and dementia nursing care.

Hours: 33 hours per week. Rate: £18 – £20 per hour (DOE). Contract: Permanent. Sponsorship: Not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to residents.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health and wellbeing.
• Carry out clinical tasks including bloods, catheter care, PEG care and tracheostomy care.
• Support the care team to deliver person‑centred care.
• Maintain compliance with CQC standards and best practice.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Valid NMC PIN (RGN or RMN).
• Experience in a care or nursing home setting preferred.
• Competent in bloods, catheters, PEG and tracheostomy care.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Professional, reliable and compassionate approach.

Location & Commute

Doncaster. Commutable from Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop, Scunthorpe, Goole, Pontefract, Castleford and surrounding areas.

The service cares for up to 49 residents across residential care, nursing care, dementia residential care and dementia nursing care.
