Job Overview
International Sports Marketing Manager – DePuy Synthes (Leeds, UK / Zug, Switzerland / Singapore). The position reports directly to the VP International Marketing and is responsible for executing and driving the marketing strategy for the Sports portfolio across international regions, accelerating brand visibility, market penetration, and product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Sports Med portfolio, aligning with global and regional campaigns.
- Lead the development, execution and management of marketing campaigns using digital marketing and integrated MARCOM plans to generate demand.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches with innovative marketing and sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with sales, supply chain, finance, and medical affairs to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and key customers to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Support Commercial and Professional Education activities, becoming a product champion for the Primary Knee Portfolio and enhancing knowledge within the surgeon community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within the orthopaedic sector.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing plans and campaigns, especially around product launches.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations to executive leadership, customers, and field teams.
- Work environment requires ability to work with cadavers and within an operating room setting, along with experience leading surgeon teams and meetings.
- Overall travel expectations: 40‑50% across international regions.
- English fluency required; additional languages preferred.
