Fire & Security Service Engineer
V7 Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi‑Disciplined Fire & Security Small Works / Service Engineer to join a leading global organisation delivering fire detection and security solutions across the UK. The role covers the West Midlands/Coventry region.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning, servicing, and fault finding on complex, fully integrated fire and security systems.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
- Support sales, project management, and commercial teams to ensure projects and service contracts are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Service, maintain, and diagnose faults on large integrated fire and security systems.
- Complete clear and accurate documentation, including work reports, service reports, and commissioning certificates.
- Deliver a high level of customer service, maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Manage service delivery on‑site and remotely, including attending site meetings and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Take part in out‑of‑hours rota.
Qualifications
- Significant experience working within the Fire & Security industry.
- Proven experience servicing and commissioning complex fire detection and integrated security systems.
- Strong knowledge of multiple manufacturers’ systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on customer service.
