Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services (Preston). Salary: Circa £50,000 with flexible working, on‑site parking, and benefits.

Role

We need a Senior Electrical Engineer who runs and leads projects independently, from concept through to handover, without business development responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Run and lead your own projects from cradle to grave.
• Work client side as a true consultant, designing through Stages 1-4 and overseeing to handover.
• Take overall Project Lead responsibility ahead of all other disciplines.
• Peer check where required for other disciplines.
• Comfortably handle projects ranging from small to very large, including healthcare estates, hospital infrastructure, defence sector work, and up to 11 KV infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong Electrical Building Services background.
• Comfortable managing own projects independently.
• Experience with Amtech or Electrical OMD.
• Degree qualified ideally.
• CEng / MCIBSE beneficial but not essential.
• CAD experience useful, Revit not required.
