Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer (Residential)
Urban Cooling is an Air-Conditioning Specialist that provides units to apartments, listed buildings and residential properties in London and the South East. We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer who wants to progress their career. This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team focused on taking the business to the next level.
A valid UK driving licence is required for travel between jobs. The position is open to PAYE or self‑employed basis.
Salary & Hours – £45,000 – £55,000 per annum + overtime + performance incentives. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (overtime available). Full‑time permanent.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on residential air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and repair faults on split, multi‑split and internal AC systems
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation (F‑Gas, TM44 where applicable)
- Provide excellent customer service in occupied residential properties

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong fault‑finding skills on residential AC systems
- Good understanding of refrigeration cycles

- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
- Basic IT skills for job reporting
Experience Needed
Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential air conditioning, servicing split and multi‑split systems, and working in occupied homes/apartments.
Other Special Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence
- F‑Gas Category1 certification
- Physically fit for work
