Overview
Maintenance Engineer needed near Ashford, Kent for a Monday–Friday contract with a high‑speed packaging manufacturer. You must have experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.
£37 per hour, Outside IR35, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week. Overtime is available.
Location & Commute
Commutable from Ashford, Maidstone, Folkestone, Charing, Canterbury, Winchelsea, Kingsnorth, Sittingbourne, Dover, Rochester, Chatham, Aylesford, Snodland, Strood, Sevenoaks and other parts of Kent.
Responsibilities
To carry out the requirements of the planned preventive maintenance programme.
- Solid practical electrical or mechanical hands‑on experience maintaining machinery
- Attending to breakdowns in a fast‑paced environment
- Using initiative to solve breakdowns
- Planned maintenance
- Mechanical or electrical fault‑finding
- Adhere to H&S
Qualifications & Desired Skills
Mechanical or Electrical qualification or Apprenticeship and experience.
FMCG experience and experience in a manufacturing environment.
