Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Quality Engineer based in Dumbarton. You’ll manage field warranty performance and lead customer NCR investigations, driving effective root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyse field warranty performance, identifying trends, failure modes, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead customer‑raised NCR investigations, ensuring timely containment, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to gather evidence, validate issues, and resolve quality concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, corrective actions, and warranty data within the QMS.
- Provide quality inputs to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate investigation outcomes and improvement actions to customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or technical environment, with strong problem‑solving and investigation skills.
- Demonstrated capability in leading NCR investigations, performing structured root‑cause analysis, and driving effective corrective actions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, warranty trends, and technical information to support decision‑making.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in customer‑facing discussions and presenting investigation outcomes.
- Solid understanding of ISO9001 principles, QMS processes, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.,8D,DMAIC,Lean,SixSigma).
- Ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Production, Service, and Supply Chain teams, influencing actions to resolve quality issues.
