Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join a well-established Residential Conveyancing team based in Edinburgh. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive environment, assisting on a broad range of residential property transactions.
As the successful candidate, you will support solicitors with the day-to-day management of conveyancing matters, helping to ensure a high standard of client service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
- Drafting LBTT returns and registration documentation
- Ordering title documentation and property reports
- Liaising with clients, agents and third parties
- Supporting file management and transaction progression
- Maintaining accurate records and internal systems
- Providing efficient and professional client service
About You
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing in Scotland
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and professional approach
- Strong team player with a client-focused mindset
- Relevant legal or paralegal qualification preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered
