Overview

At Hall & Kay, we deliver complex fire protection and security solutions across the UK. We are seeking a highly experienced Security Systems Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service for our intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute annual maintenance, including reactive responses, for security systems.
  • Prioritise jobs, manage time efficiently, and complete accurate work reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Respond to stand‑by / call‑out duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience within the Electronic Security industry.
  • Knowledge of IP‑based networks and security systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders.
  • Problem‑solving skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Relevant qualifications (18th edition, NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC) desirable but not essential.
