Trainee White Goods Engineer – Essex (SE35)

OTE up to £50,000 per annum. Base salary £26,500 to £34,000 – salary reviewed after training.

Position Details

Permanent, Full-time | 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri | Company van provided – private use optional | Tools & Training Provided

Candidate location requirement: must live in postcode areas CM/RM/SS/IG.

What You Will Do

  • Learn to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers.
  • Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Use a mechanical or electrical mindset to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site.
  • Record and manage job details using in‑house engineer software.
  • Follow guidance from a mentor while building skills and confidence.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally.
  • Continuously develop technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience.
