Paralegal (Chinese Speaking, £28k, Renewables and Environment, Manchester)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal role in a Renewables and Environment company based in Manchester. The firm is a global provider of renewable power and low‑carbon building solutions. The organisation is searching for a paralegal to work on cross‑jurisdictional and multi‑disciplinary energy projects alongside the company’s General Counsel.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic record, including a valid degree in law or Graduate Diploma in Law
• Has finished or will soon complete the Bar Professional Training course or equivalent
• Oversea lawyers who have passed Stage 1 of the QLTS will be considered
• Outstanding writing and vocal communication abilities
• Ability to operate autonomously
• Excellent detail‑orientedness and thoroughness
• Positivity and a “can‑do” mentality
• Outstanding organisational and time‑management abilities
• Committed to managing a project to completion
• A working grasp of the Chinese language is preferred
• Previous work experience for a minimum of 1 year in‑house or in private practice in either corporate, energy, construction, or commercial law is required
