Grant Thornton – Business Consulting – HCM Compensation and Benefit Consultant
Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting practice focuses on Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People. The Enterprise Applications Practice delivers advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications.
In this role you will provide advisory and implementation services for Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically in Compensation and Benefit modules. This includes leading the HCM workstream through the entire implementation lifecycle, managing the solution, client requirements, timelines, scope, budget, and ensuring successful delivery of key milestones.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end solution for specified HCM modules from initial conception through configuration and testing.
- Document business requirements, configurations and transformational goals to achieve client objectives.
- Support the Solution Architect and Project Manager in managing scope, plans and budget.
- Lead the project area in business requirements, functional design, process design (scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing and training.
- Build and maintain close relationships with client senior stakeholders.
- Specify and document functional and integration designs and extensions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance solution usability and engagement profitability.
Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience in a consulting practice or similar role with multiple industry clients.
- Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud design, configuration and implementation; at least 2 completed end‑to‑end Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation and Benefit projects.
- Minimum core HCM Cloud functionality coverage, with additional expertise in Compensation and ideally an additional area such as Cloud learning, Talent or Recruitment.
- Experience with Oracle Fast formulas.
- Evidence of formal Oracle vendor training, skills development and certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics and reports.
- Proven ability to deliver complex, time‑sensitive projects.
- Strong leadership skills; able to conduct meetings and produce technically oriented documents.
- Ability to engage and respond effectively to client senior stakeholder groups.
- Ability to analyze current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% if necessary.
