Overview

The Customer Consultant role at Solus centers on clear communication, organization, and customer experience. As a key point of contact, you support customers throughout their repair journey and help keep site operations running smoothly day-to-day. This varied, hands‑on role combines customer service, coordination, and the collection and delivery of customer vehicles, requiring good judgment, organization, and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

  • Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repair
  • Handle queries calmly and professionally, providing clear and timely responses
  • Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and courteously when required
  • Arrange and coordinate vehicle movements and transport activity
  • Support site operations, including parts coordination and basic administration
  • Work closely with technicians, production teams and site leaders
  • Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional site environment

Qualifications

We don’t require formal qualifications for this role. What matters most is how you work with people, how you manage responsibility, and your willingness to be hands‑on.

You’ll Bring

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer‑facing role
  • A full UK driving licence, with confidence driving customer vehicles
  • Clear and professional communication skills, face‑to‑face and over the phone
  • A calm and organized approach, even when managing multiple tasks
  • Pride in representing the business when interacting with customers
  • A positive, team‑focused attitude
