Banbury Town Centre with free parking.

Salary

Up to £65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Conveyancing in the day‑to‑day management of the department across all locations.
  • Ensure staff training is up to date and that all staff have clear development plans.
  • Support team members with more complex matters.
  • Conduct performance and file reviews.
  • Manage a reduced caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchase transactions, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, and new plot purchases.
  • Attend management meetings and lead the department in the absence of the Head of Department.
  • Prepare bills.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, referrers and other third‑party professionals.
  • Engage in business development and networking activities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified status (solicitor, licensed conveyancer or chartered legal executive) with around 5 years PQE.
  • Experience managing a varied conveyancing caseload, including more complex matters.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Excellent team leadership skills/ability.
  • Strong client care skills.
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Ambitious individual, eager to progress further in legal career.

Work Schedule

Full‑time permanent, fully office‑based. Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week).
