SEND Specialist – Wyberton

About the role:

A primary SEND provision near Wyberton is seeking a full-time SEND Specialist to begin immediately. The role involves supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including cognition and learning, speech and language, and complex developmental profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted interventions to support communication, language, and key literacy/numeracy skills.
• Adapt resources, visual supports and routines to help pupils with SEND access learning meaningfully.
• Liaise with the SENCO and external specialists to implement personalised learning plans.
• Provide high quality 1:1 and small group support to help pupils achieve their EHCP outcomes.
• Promote independence, emotional well being and positive behaviour through structured routines.

Pre‑requisites:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including cognition & learning or communication needs.
• Confident adapting tasks and using visual supports to aid understanding.
• Previous experience in a primary school, specialist provision or intervention‑based role.
• Relevant qualifications such as L2/3 TA, SEND training or childcare qualifications.
