Overview
The Northumberland Family Time Service supervises family time for children and families across Northumberland. The role supports families to spend quality time together when they cannot live together. We work with very vulnerable children and must maintain professional relationships while managing complex family needs and behaviours. A Family Time Worker will be allocated a family and remain with them for the duration of the session, during which they will observe and record interactions and parenting, provide advice (if requested), and only intervene to ensure the safety of a child or young person. Supervision takes place within dedicated venues and the local community. The main office base is in Ashington, but staff work across the whole county of Northumberland adopting agile and flexible working. We are looking for people who have a passion for helping and supporting children and families.
