Insolvency and Recoveries – Paralegal (Debt Recovery)

Overview

To work within the public body and B2B team undertaking various client and public sector debt recovery work.

Responsibilities

• Handle money only debt matters and section 146 Notices
• Conduct litigation, including issuing claims, obtaining judgments and enforcing judgments
• Contact with client, as delegated
• Complete MI procedures as required
• Achieve set targets/KPIs
• Ensure relevant deadlines, compliance and quality measures are adhered to
• Comply with Weightmans and client policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values

This list is not exhaustive; you will be expected to perform other duties within the wider remit of the role.

About You

You will have previous experience as a Paralegal and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. The role is varied, so a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to different tasks are important. You should also have:
