Job Description:

Regional Commercial Manager – LATAM (UK/US)

Overview

Sitting in the Commercial Performance team and reporting to the Head of Commercial Performance, this role is a commercial ownership position rather than a traditional finance role. You will act as the primary commercial voice for LATAM, set the commercial agenda with Marketing and Business Development, and guide the team toward achieving the region’s P&L targets.

Responsibilities

  • Carry full P&L responsibility for the LATAM region, covering revenue, CAC, new customer acquisition, unit economics, and customer lifetime value.
  • Define monthly corridor targets and the investment envelope needed to achieve them.
  • Brief marketing on regional needs to support profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on new opportunity strategies and risk mitigation.
  • Work with Data Insights to generate hypotheses, interpret performance, build and pivot strategies based on corridor analysis.
  • Develop business cases for key initiatives and influence cross‑functional prioritisation through customer‑centric, impact‑driven frameworks, including financial models.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing a P&L in a high‑growth environment (fintech, payments, or adjacent).
  • Data‑literate and able to drive high‑stakes conversations with Marketing, BD, and Insights.
  • Strong commercial leadership more like a Country Manager than a coordinator; able to drive results across teams.

Bonus Points

  • Deep cultural or economic understanding of markets such as Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia or other high‑volume corridors.
  • Experience navigating the licensing or compliance landscape of international money transfers.
  • Experience building reporting frameworks or “operating rhythms” for a regional commercial team.
  • Fluency in a primary language within the assigned region.

AI Literacy & Tools

  • Curious about AI and its application to accelerate analysis, insights, and process design.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context (e.g., drafting content, building frameworks, extracting insights).
  • Strong understanding of AI assistants, prompting, and evaluating AI‑generated output.
  • Awareness of ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace.
  • Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice‑to‑have but not essential.

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to own the LATAM function from the ground up and shape its future success.
