The Opportunity

The Coordinator, Global Sourcing role assists with the development and maintenance of supplier relationships, ensuring that they meet all quality and delivery standards. This position manages purchase orders—creation, approval requests, and tracking—to ensure the accurate and timely procurement of finished goods. The role sits in the Planning and Scheduling department and reports to the Manager, Global Sourcing.

The Role

  • Communicate with vendors to confirm their production capacity and ensure they can meet delivery schedules and volume requirements.
  • Execute activities related to purchase order management, including creation, approval request, and tracking to ensure accurate and timely procurement of finished goods.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments—production, logistics, and finance—to ensure that procurement activities align with the overall business objectives.
  • Ensure that products and materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate and present reports on procurement activities, including product flow, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Studies.
  • At least five (3) years of relevant experience in a supply chain or logistics environment, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following tracking, inventory control, and planning/scheduling systems preferred: E1, JDE, O9, VI.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Very strong attention to detail and developed multi‑tasking abilities.
  • Effective written and oral communication with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze data‑related documents and communicate effectively to reach desired resolutions.
