Forklift Driver (Clamp)

£16.71 per hour | Rotating shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) | Ongoing work

GI Group UK are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver with clamp attachment experience to join our client based in Marston Green, Birmingham. Our client is a well‑established packaging company offering long‑term, ongoing work for the right candidate.

Shift & Pay Details:

• Pay rate: £16.71 per hour
• Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
• Rotating weekly shifts (Mornings/afternoons)
• Monday to Friday

Duties will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift with clamp attachment
• Safely moving, loading and unloading packaging materials
• Stacking, relocating and organising stock within the warehouse
• Following site safety procedures and maintaining a clean working area
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (in‑date)
• Proven experience using a clamp truck (essential)
• Previous experience within a warehouse or packaging environment desirable
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
• Reliability and flexibility to work rotating shifts
